What Happened To Julia Roberts?

There is no duty we so much underrate as the duty of being happy. By being happy we sow anonymous benefits upon the world. -Robert Louis Stevenson

So, this is a weird and incredibly random post but it's something I think about everytime I see a picture of Julia Roberts on yahoo news...WHY IS SHE SO SAD?
Is it just me or does she always look horrifically sad?
I hate that!

When I was a kid, The Pelican Brief, Pretty Woman, and My Best Friend's Wedding were three of my favorite movies; Julia was like the Jennifer Lawrence of the 90's. But nowadays, instead of coming across as down to earth and quirky during interviews, she often strikes me as bitter and withdrawn : (

Also, none of the movies that she's starred in during the past five to eight years have been that great (in my opinion).

She's one of my favorite actresses but it's like something's made her bitter to the point of losing her spark. I could be wrong...but that's what it looks like.

This makes me think about me...of course, because really it's all about me (muhaha!) Just kidding, nah, actually I'm  semi-serious. I hate my dayjob with every fiber of my being, so for 40 hours a week I'm a dead-eyed emotional mess. When I get to write and work on things related to my stories is when I'm ridiculously content, and that doesn't happen too often. So...I've been walking around for the past five years looking as bitter as Julia Roberts, and that kind of sucks.

When we're sad, our sadness can contribute to the the depth of our art, but when we're bitterly sad, this kind of sadness becomes a weight on our shoulders that, instead of fostering artistic growth, hampers development. So, I wish I knew how to be happy. And not just me, but everyone, including Julia Roberts.

...named her blog "Yes Please!" for no apparent reason. She is also a human person (supposedly) from Louisiana who enjoys writing nonsense stories and loudly over-analyzing movies to the point of being annoying to anyone within earshot.

She also enjoys interviewing artists for the online magazine, "Heard>Herd".
